One Year in Middle-earth A Branded Challenge by the Texas region for all TSL members.

Every epic journey begins with a single step out the door.

One Year in Middle-earth: Part I is the beginning of a three-part Texas Region Branded Challenge inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring. From January through March, you will walk alongside Bilbo, Frodo, and the Fellowship, facing trials, forging bonds, and recording your own adventure in your own Red Book.

Then, in April, you will take one of three possible paths that you will choose for One Year in Middle-earth: Part II. You will endure the struggles of The Two Towers and The Return of the King, facing tests of courage, loyalty, and endurance.

Finally, in December, all paths merge for a grand celebration, marking the conclusion of One Year in Middle-earth: Part III.
