Texas Hill Country Mavericks – February 2024 Strenuous Saturday

For our February Strenuous Saturday, the Texas Hill Country Mavericks held an event called Guns N Buns. We went to Waterloo Icehouse for some burgers (and other Southern comfort food favorites) and then headed to a local gun range for some target practice.

In attendance for the lunch was Jeffery Rhoads (@JPRhoads), Nicolas Meyers (@prometheus), Chris Kohl (@chriskohl), Colby Jackson (@colbyjack), and myself @bhart.

While Nicolas and Colby had prior engagements they had to get to, Jeff, Chris, and myself headed to the range. We shot a variety of different handguns, a couple rifles, and my old model 10 revolver. The range was packed, so we weren’t able to get through too many drills, but it was still a fun way to spend the afternoon. We’ll likely be back in the not-too-distant future.
